Experiential and work integrated learning

Our students develop comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in nuclear science and technology through specialized programs, co-op placements, and internships. Collaborating with faculty and industry experts, students apply their learning to real-world projects, addressing critical industry challenges.

Experiential learning includes:

Between 2023-2024, more than 3,100 students participated in experiential learning opportunities with almost 500 organizations across a variety of dynamic sectors—health care, manufacturing, information technology, energy, education, professional and technical services and public administration.
